DEDI's Liquid Deprenyl Citrate
Understanding the Name Game
Many consumers that had not heard of Liquid Deprenyl Citrate (LDC) when DEDI was manufacturing it, are now starting to hear of it from researching on the internet. The sources that mention LDC do not properly explain about the name and what it means. Many websites will intentionally avoid this subject for some reasons below.
It is most essential for the public to know Liquid Deprenyl Citrate is a brand name. Just as Tylenol, for instance, is a brand name. DEDI is the only company in the world that has ever made, or will ever make LDC. Unless you run across a fraudulent company calling their product "Liquid Deprenyl Citrate".
As it turns out, there is a fraudulent company that does almost exactly that. They knowingly deceive the public into purchasing a bogus, ineffective product. This company is depicted under Fraudulent Companies.
The Rise of Liquid Deprenyl Citrate
Discovery Experimental & Development Inc. (DEDI) developed 99.9% pure Selegiline in the early 1990s. To this day, no company offers pure Selegiline in the world. The only thing anyone is able to find is Selegiline Hydrochloride (Hcl). After developing Selegiline, and additional required agents, DEDI named the combined product Liquid Deprenyl Citrate.
Deprenyl
Deprenyl is a name that refers to types of Selegiline. With the exception of the fraudulent company depicted on this website, all Deprenyl products are sold in tablets or capsules. Which means they are all in powder form. As stated above, they are all specifically Selegiline Hcl.
Although the fraudulent company Cyto Pharma admits this when asked, they lie outright on websites and similar. The remaining companies possess enough ethics to tell the truth about what their product really is. These companies manufacture Selegiline Hcl in large quantities in a powder form and then capsule it.
Instead of capsuling, fraudulent Cyto Pharma dissolves the powder into "purified water" (according to their package insert). While all of these Selegiline Hcls may be classified as Deprenyl, they all have numerous faults being Selegiline Hcl instead of Selegiline.
Overview
Deprenyl is a name that refers to both Selegiline and Selegiline Hcl. Selegiline and Selegiline Hcl are inherently different substances. Both Selegiline and Selegiline Hcl are chemical names.
Liquid Deprenyl Citrate is a brand name, named by DEDI (developers of LDC). LDC is pure Selegiline mixed with certain substances to further enhance and achieve it's advertised effects. It is impossible for another Liquid Deprenyl Citrate to exist, just as it would be impossible for another brand name "Tylenol" or "Advil" to exist.
