Website Basics

This section of the Liquid Deprenyl site is dedicated to those who need a little help viewing websites, and particularly concentrates on this website. It is intended for those new to the internet and websites.

Websites are comprised of many pages that are viewed using internet programs (such as AOL, Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc). You may navigate through these pages by clicking on words that are called links. Links appear in many different styles throughout the internet, however on this website you may recognize a link as looking like this.

It is the designers responsibility to make viewing easy and simple so users never get confused or lost on a website. If any confusion occurs, all website programs have a back button that allows you to go back to the page you were previously on. It is usually located near the top of the window identified with an arrow pointing left or with the word "back".

This website has a simple layout. On the top of the page is a header, and below that a line of a few links. Pay close attention to the first link "Home Page", as that link will always bring you to the first initial page of the website. When the letters are in red, that means you are currently viewing that page. Additionally, as you click these links, the left navigation column will contain new links only relevant to the topic you are viewing.

On the left there is a navigation column where various links are placed representing different categories and pages. As you click on one of these links, subjects pertaining to the particular category will be listed underneath the link you clicked. The background of the link will be white and the word color black when you are currently viewing the page.

Now that you know the basics of viewing this website, if you'd like more information on viewing particular pages, please select one of the links in the left navigation column.
